Habib is owner/principal of Vertex Survey, Inc (formerly Pinnacle Land Survey, Inc) since 2001. Member or IUOE Local 12, since 1987.

Habib has extensive experience managing multiple crews in multi-phased residential development projects, hillside subdivisions, construction staking, boundary and topographic surveys throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Kern, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. As well as working with public agencies including City of Santa Clarita, Castaic Lake Water Agency, Newhall Water District and Valencia Water Company.

Has an extensive background in both field and office procedures relative to boundary and cadastral surveys, topographic mapping, construction stakeout, engineering design, GPS control, GIS and CADD mapping. Along with survey supervision and coordination, calculations and analysis in support of survey crews. 

Mike is licensed as a professional Land Surveyor in the State of California PLS 8995, with 32 years experience. He is a Certified Party Chief, JAC Local 12, and a member of California Land Surveyors Association.

Mike is responsible for the preparation of Final Maps and Parcel Maps, Record of Surveys, ALTA Surveys and all construction and boundary surveys. Mike worked as a consultant to the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists (BPELSG) as an Expert Examiner writing, grading and Standard Setting for the State Land Surveyors License. He has assisted numerous private engineering and surveying companies in the Santa Clarita Valley to provide all the necessary design, research and coordination of projects throughout Southern California. He has 35 years experience in the industry, and is licensed as a professional land surveyor, PLS 5642.

Our Experienced Staff

The majority of our Field Personnel are members of IUOE local 12, and receive prevailing wages. Our Party Chiefs in charge of crews have over 15 years of experience. We believe in having the latest equipment in order to be competitive in the construction surveying market. Our inventory includes the latest top of the line GPS, Robotic Total Station and Electronic Level systems made by Trimble. 

All of our party chiefs, chainmen and apprentices are either graduates or enrolled in the apprenticeship program through Local 12.
